The Cafe Fresca team are fully equipped to cater for any event you are looking to host. From wedding receptions to private parties, we have something for everyone.
We are fully licensed, only 5 minutes from the Hamilton CBD, and have plenty of free parking available.
PRIVATE EVENTS FOR 30-100 PEOPLE CAN BE BOOKED FROM 6PM.
For smaller get togethers, you may wish to use our separate side area for groups of 15 to 30.
This area can be available during the day as well - no hire fees or charges apply if within normal opening hours.

FULL VENUE HIRE
Hire fee of $150 applies to all bookings up to 7pm. If past 7pm, then a late fee of $350 applies bringing total hire fee to $500.
This covers set up, break down, full clean & staff for the evening.
Additional Cleaners fee $150 may apply to some bookings but is included in the late fee.

Please make use our full bar. We have a full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available. Happy to discuss drink selection.
Sorry no BYO, however we are happy to buy in your desired brand of toasting bubbles at a set price and quantity for you.

DINNER & NIBBLES/FINGER FOOD
Nibbles/Finger Food (Minimum 20 people) We recommend approximately $15 per person for our basic nibbles. This is ordered as platters. We can design a menu for you that fits within your budget/requirements, especially if a substantial meal is required, eg. weddings, etc.

SOUND , MUSIC & TV
We have our own basic cafe sound system utilising Spotify where you can share with us a playlist that has been made for your occasion.
We also have a TV to display JPEG photo files you can use with a USB stick or laptop & HDMI cable. We are mindful of noise restrictions and therefore no DJ's or Bands unless approved prior. Noise control is part of our license, so we are governed by the act and therefore duty manager has sole discretion on the night regarding noise control.
We reduce music from 11pm until the 12am strict closing.

FINE-PRINT
Deposit of $500 to secure the date applies first come/paid basis. It will be refunded if cancelled with at least 1 months' notice in writing. There are additional charges for no shows, breakages and other reasonable costs.
If payment is not settled before the event, we do ask for payment on the night or the next day.
Existing Cafe Discounts, loyalty cards and special promotions do not apply to private function bookings.
We are a family type venue & we legally can't serve or have intoxicated persons on the property. Any guests bringing in alcohol from outside will be immediately excluded from the premises and car park, this includes drinking in the car park which is forbidden under liquor licensing laws.
The Garden Centre is a separate business and therefore we ask guests to respect the boundaries.
Decorations are allowed as long as temporary and removed prior to next day opening. Please strictly no confetti, glitter, etc.
